We've been setting the bar since 2008.
From humble beginnings and a passion for wild spaces, Josh Crawford started Capt'n Crow with long term seasonal enjoyment in mind! Inspired by the golden wheat fields of the Alberta prairies and the rough terrain of the Rocky Mountains.
We specialize in reclaiming your piece of the wild with designs built in Canmore Fusion & Modern styles, and natural pond features! We pride ourselves on improving sustainability by using durable materials locally sourced and innovative techniques for our natural bogs to create a unique ecosystem within your own yard free from harsh chemical cleaners.
We create Landscapes for families to enjoy for generations.
Thank you Capt'n Crow for your amazing work! Your creative vision came to life and you made our staycation absolutely beautiful. Your professionalism, work ethic, honesty, passion, and integrity definitely “set the bar”. Thank you!!
As the homeowner of this project, my favourite part of the job was the passion and expertise of the @captncrow crew. From the first meeting, design, foundational work, transformation, to finished extension of our home is amazing. Could not be happier with the effort and Precision this team had, day in and day out, turning a pile of dirt into our outdoor sanctuary. The attention to detail and more than anything, ensuring it was done right and not just done, is something I could never thank this team enough for. I miss this crew already.

“We hired Josh and his team to install a waterfall and pondless waterfall, rock retaining walls, stone walkway, hand-built pergola, and wood screen for my climbing roses. They also installed a dry river bed, rock patio under our walkout, two cedar decks, and planted oversized trees.
Josh and his team have an excellent work ethic and did a magnificent job. With all the issues we have had building our house, Josh was a breath of fresh air. He is true to his word. He arrived when he said he would, the team worked long, hard days and they did a terrific job!"
